Recommended Garden Reading

There are few pleasures in life to rival the enjoyment of gardening but reading must be one of them! Now what could be better than relaxing in your own garden with a good book on gardening or a garden magazine?

Imagine yourself, curled up in a hammock on your deck with a glass of wine or beer at hand. You have a good gardening book in your hand - the perfect excuse for not actually doing any work - youíre planning your garden!

Anyway, here are my recommendation for a few of my all-time favourite gardening books and magazines.

Fine Gardening magazine offers hands-on advice from America's best gardeners. I love this magazine because articles are written by expert gardeners, Fine Gardening stands alone in providing in-depth coverage of great garden plants.

 

Better Homes and Gardens is a monthly magazine for people who are interested in making their homes and families the focal points in their lives. Features include home improvement, do-it-yourself projects and decorating both inside and in the garden


Gardening books

 

Over 400 entries of the most practical, up-to-date gardening information ever, collected from garden experts and writers nationwide! This book is a mine of information - you will refer to it time and again for years to come. Everybody with a garden should have a copy of this one.
